While in Cleveland, we were able to celebrate Grammie's 60th birthday! Here are a few pictures from the party. Birthday cake? Balloons? Presents to unwrap? Clay was most interested in these two stairs.
From Cleveland, Clay and I ventured to Detroit for the annual girls get together. This was Clay's third year in attendance, but his first year attending outside the womb.
Clay wasn't able to stay at the girls hangout for very long (for obvious reasons), but he was there long enough to grow a strong fondness for Parker the cat. The feeling was not entirely mutual though Parker was a very gracious host.
Daddy finally arrived on the scene and the boys moved on to Saginaw to visit Grandma's house for the first time.
Clay was able to meet Great Grandma and Papa White. Clay loved to laugh at Papa's Donald Duck impression.
Clay also loved time with Uncle Travis. I wish I had a picture. Clay would just sit in front of Travis and stare, waiting eagerly for Travis to play. He would ignore everyone else in the room and just hope that Travis would let him play video games, too.

Grandma treated Clay to some fun water play in her backyard and a quarter-size train ride in Frankenmuth. Clay's first visit to Michigan was a great success. He even did well on the fourteen hour drive back to Minnesota. We drove through the night, hoping Clay would sleep, but of course he didn't want to do that. So we had a family all-nighter. That said, Clay started to sleep through the night consistently at Grandma's house and he's kept up the good work since we've been home!
